Who we are
Built by Engineers Who Take Data Seriously
Mercury Programs was founded on a simple premise: most organizations are sitting on valuable data they can't fully use because their tools weren't built for them.
The Origin
Mercury Programs grew out of years of consulting work where the same problem kept surfacing: businesses had outgrown their off-the-shelf software but weren't sure custom development was within reach. Spreadsheets were holding critical workflows together. Legacy systems were creating data silos. Decisions were being made on incomplete information.
We built Mercury Programs to close that gap — a firm focused exclusively on database application development, with the depth of expertise that generalist agencies can't offer and the accessibility that enterprise consultancies rarely provide.
Every engagement starts with the data. We learn how it flows through your organization, where it gets stuck, and what it would mean to have it working for you instead of against you. Then we build something that fits.
Our Mission
To build database applications that give organizations complete command of their data — precise, reliable, and built to last.
Precision over speed
We take the time to understand the problem before we write a line of code. Rushed architecture creates technical debt that compounds for years.
Transparency by default
No black boxes. You understand what we're building, why we're building it that way, and what tradeoffs we're making.
Ownership, not dependency
We build systems you can maintain and extend. Our goal is to make ourselves less necessary over time, not more.
Data integrity above all
We treat your data as the irreplaceable asset it is. Every migration, every schema change, every deployment is planned with zero tolerance for data loss.
